PLEA 2012 conference will gather architects, professors, researchers and students of the built environment from around the world to discuss and share experiences related to the opportunities, needs, and limitations of a sustainable and environmentally responsible architecture and urban design.

The frame for discussion will be the diversity in nature, context, resources, cultural and social identity and how creativity, technology and innovation in design can take a responsible advantage to satisfy occupants needs and contribute to the sustainable development of communities.
